City Winery NYC presents Steven Bernstein’s MTO with special guests Vernon Reid, Corey Glover, Eric Mingus, Leon Pendarvis & Alicia Olatuja to celebrate James Brown Thanksgiving live in concert on November 22 at 8 PM.

Originally put together to celebrate Michael Dorf’s 60th birthday, Steven Bernstein’s James Brown project continues to evolve into a wild celebration of all things JB. Special guests have included Vernon Reid, John Medeski, Catherine Russell, Corey Glover, Nicole Atkins, Eric Mingus, Kenan Thompson, and Leon Pendarvis. Expect the unexpected as this band of NYC’s finest digs deep into JB’s catalogue and opens new doors of perception… and funk.
